Up until a week or so ago, my answer to this question would have been..."ummm, no."
BUT, thanks to my sweet-faced friend, Rachel, at Maybe Matilda, I can now proudly say..."Why, yes. I do crochet."
See, Rachel is hosting this super-cool "Crochet Along" over on her blog.
It started a little while ago, but you can definitely just jump right in at any point. If you have never picked up a skein of yarn or a crochet hook, no worries...Rachel will show you step by step EXACTLY what to do. And let me tell you, this girl is an AWESOME teacher. And if you already know your single crochet stitch from your half-double crochet stitch, well then, fantastic! Grab your supplies and get to stitchin'!

My grandmother showed me how to crochet when I was young but I'm not very good at it. I've made a couple of washcloths and kitchen scrubbies.

A couple of my daughters love to crochet. It's weird, I could never get the hang of it. But if you promise it's easy....I may try it. Lisa~
I crochet! My mom taught me when I was little, although I've never ventured outside of the blanket and dish cloth realm. I will have to check this out...

I love to crochet, I learned while camping when I was 8 and haven't stopped since. Your cowl is lovely and will be so cozy. The crochet a long sounds like a great idea.
I've always wanted to try it out, and knitting also, I love knitted blankets!
I've been meaning to learn for months now... and maybe this could be my way of finally committing to doing it! I love the cowl, definitely a necessity before Autumn really hits =) x
