More Everything Halloween Features and my Glammed-Up Witch Hat

10.04.2011
OK, seriously, you guys...I am constantly amazed at the amount of talent out there in blogland...you are all so dang clever! I have found no fewer than 30 new things I HAVE to do for Halloween...no joke.

Here are a few more of my favorites (I can't tell you how hard it has been choosing features...everyone has done such a beautiful job on their projects!)...

I am a huge fan of changing out pictures in my house...I do it often...but I have never thought of doing this. Suzanne from Why Cuz I Can spooks up her house with portraits of famous movie monsters! So cool! I'm totally doing this...

Chelsea from two twenty one shared these super-awesome printables...and they all have chevron backgrounds...and they are all perfect...

OK...I don't know where Shelley from Crazy Wonderful lives, but it doesn't matter, because I'm leaving now and finding her house...no matter how long it takes...and then I'm gonna "borrow" (ahem) all of her Halloween decorations, and her furniture, and her decorating sense...take a look at her fantastically spooky holiday decor...

This Halloween party from Kelsey at Snowcones & Lollipops is to die for...after I leave Shelley's house, I'm hunting down Kelsey and forcing asking her to style my next party...I love all of the details she put into this hauntingly fun celebration!

Jaime at That's My Letter has a "huge decorating dilemma" in that her TV hangs directly above her mantle...totally practical for tv-watching purposes...not so great for decorating...but she solves the problem perfectly with her mantle pumpkin patch...LOVE the texture of these adorable pumpkins!

Carol at The Answer is Chocolate took a wonderful Halloween graphic and turned it into this amazing piece of artwork for her mantle...I adore the harlequin paper...a relatively simple project with HUGE impact...I loves me some harlequin paper...

If your project has been featured, I would love if you'd grab a (or is it an) "I Rock" button from my sidebar! Yay!

Now, before you go, I'd like to share another of my projects with you...my Witch Hat...all glammed-up...

I never used to dress up for Halloween, in fact, I think my costume for years was "Pajama Girl"...truly.
However, now that my kids are getting older, it's so fun to join them in dressing up...especially at our annual Halloween party. Last year I dressed as a witch...this year I'm going to be the same thing (if the shoe fits...), but I'm dressing up my look a little bit...

With the addition of a feather boa and feather pick (simply glued around the brim), and some crepe paper flowers (tutorial coming soon), I've taken my plain old hat to a whole 'notha level...

Kate was thrilled to be modeling for me...

Ooooh, I can't wait for Halloween!!! Now to get to work on my cloak...

And keep linking up!!! Yay!
