Hey hey everyone!

Today's post is a repost of mine that had originally run on the Poofy Cheeks blog during a holiday Cookie Exchange in 2012...(here's the post that ran there).

I'm leaving on a little trip to see some friends this afternoon, and I thought I'd whip up a batch of these delicious treats to bring with me...we'll see if I decide to share...(smile).

I hope you make these...and I hope you love them as much as I do!

Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies

Here's what you'll need:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups oats (not instant)
1/2 cup - 3/4 cups white chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

Preheat oven to 350° F.

Combine, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract in large bowl. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, cranberries, and white chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool on baking sheets for 1 - 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

These are perfect to bring for a cookie exchange or hostess gift...they are a little bit different and a lotta bit awesome...I guarantee you won't be able to eat just one!

These are truthfully some of the very best cookies I have ever made! Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and soooo full of delicious flavor. They come together incredibly quickly and this recipe makes about 4 dozen cookies! Woo hoo!!

ENJOY!

And Merry 3-weeks-from-Christmas!
