JORD watches | a giveaway

It's filled with my very favorite things right now...
...and this is my favorite of the bunch...
...my wood watch from JORD.
Last Christmas I bought one of these watches (the Fieldcrest Dark Sandalwood) for my husband. He is a woodworker AND a watch-collector, so I thought it would be the perfect gift...and it was! He loved it and he gets a ton of compliments on it.
So when JORD contacted me to see if I'd be interested in receiving a watch for myself I was like...ummm, let me think about that...YES!!!
And I must say - I love love LOVE my new watch...the Red Sandalwood from the Ely Collection.
It really is such cool watch...such a unique watch...I love having it on my wrist. And it goes with everything - dressy or casual!

I am OVER THE MOON EXCITED to be leading this class for Studio Calico...and guess what? I have some FABULOUS contributors that will be providing tons of inspiration during our 5 lessons! Now you certainly don't need to purchase these stamps in order to take the class...I will be using a variety of stamps and so will my contributors. Just make sure you have a selection of both stamps and ink pads (and maybe some watercolors and embossing powders!) and you should be good to go!

what inspires you? a Studio Calico blog hop...PLUS a HUGE GIVEAWAY!
Autumn is my very favorite season...
After months filled with swimming pools, crazy kids in and out of the house all day, hot days, humid evenings, and weeks filled with one thing or another I look forward to the fall...
...opening every window in the house and letting the cool breezes air out a home closed up and air-conditioned for most of the summer...
...warm sweaters, knit hats & comfy socks...
...comfort food and family dinners that don't need to be rushed...
...and all of the beautiful & brilliant colors of nature.
Even though the earth (in our hemisphere) is shutting down and preparing itself to hibernate, there is such amazing inspiration to be found at this time of year.
I am so inspired by the smells of spice & cinnamon, the crunching of leaves, the yellows & browns & oranges and the early onset of darkness (more time to create!).
And I'm ALWAYS inspired by Studio Calico. The kits, the digital items, the galleries, the members on the message boards...they all come together to make for one crazy inspiration-filled place to hang out.
The current kits, The Underground, are some of the best SC has ever put together...and they are filled with products that make me want to drop everything and make stuff.
SC has recently started adding screens (with which to make screenprints) to their kits. "What's this?" you ask "A screen?" Yep. And they are awesome...let me show you.
This "make magic" screen (from Hello Forever) comes in the October Main Scrapbook Kit...
I LOVE this sentiment. It inspires me to go out and live...to create the life I want for my family...to make magic for us...
And now, to celebrate all of the inspiration that can be found during this beautiful season, Studio Calico wants to know what inspires YOU!
